Super maar dan ook supervriendelijk ontvangen door de gastvrouw. Kregen onmiddellijk een rondleiding en informatie over dit prachtige historische gebouw, een unieke locatie. Een welkomstdrank (lekkere plaatselijke bubbels) gekregen op terras bij de gastheer en gastvrouw. Het huis is uniek, magnifiek ingericht met antieke meubelen die perfect passen, een ervaring om daar te logeren. De kamer zeer ruim en uniek, ook ingericht met antieke meubelen. Het ontbijt is continentaal en eenvoudig maar door de omgeving ruimschoots voldoende, wij hebben ervan kunnen genieten op het prachtige terras. Kortom een aanrader!!!!!!!!

El trato recibido por parte de los propietarios. Muy especialmente el de la propietaria. Nos traslado la ilusión y el amor hacia el lugar. La casa Batea es preciosa , la han restaurado de forma exquisita respetando su arquitectura original. Con la reforma han recuperado un trocito del pasado . El pueblo es merecedor de ser considerado uno de los más bonitos de Francia.

Wonderful property. You can't get a better place in Cordes. The owners are amazing hosts, kind, generous, elegant and full of great tips to make your stay in the region an amazing experience. They really make you feel at home. The property is beautiful, furnished tastefully and with lots of details and renaissance antiques that reflect the exceptional character of the property itself. The breakfast on the terrace was great and the wifi worked well. I am an extensive traveller for work and leisure with high expectations but this property has been beyond my expectations. I would not bother booking anything else in Cordes and can highly recommend to stay there. Anytime again. There was nothing I didn't like. The bathroom was perhaps not the greatest ever (a bit funny shaped) but it was functional, shower and taps worked well and it was spotless clean. It was build around the original features of the house dating back to the 17th century. Removing these to create a 'perfect' bathroom would have been a loss for the house and its architecture.

This was our first time abroad and we could not have picked a better place to stay, The setting of Courdes-Sur-Ciel was truly enchanting - the historic town really does appear to 'float in the clouds.'
We were warmly welcomed and happily they overcame the language barrier. The rooms were a medieval dream! Breakfast was divine and looked over an amazing view - one which we will never forget. A must stay!

For anyone in the area of Cordes-sur-Ciel this must be one of the best places to stay. Marie and Giles, our genuinely charming and warm hosts have done a magnificent job in renovating a 14th century house and furnishing with genuine period furniture. They are truly hospitable and insisted on giving us a better room than we had ordered after (in their opnion) the room we had ordered was not satisfactory. The breakfast is delicious and is supplemented with a variety of home-made jams. For whom it is important (like me) the WiFi connection is excellent. 10/10!

a écrit le 6 août 2017 à 13:03 La ubicación es excelente, el hotel es una obra de arte y lo mejor es la amabilidad de Marie, que está pendiente de los huespedes en todo momento. Es uno de estos hoteles que merece la pena guardar para repetir cada vez que estemos por la zona. Un gran acierto!

Aller à la maison Bakéa c'est comme faire un saut dans le temps. Magnifique maison. Marie & Gilles savent transmettre l'amour qu'ils portent pour leur maison. Marie met à l'aise dès l'arrivée en nous racontant l'histoire de cette maison. Superbe vue depuis la terrasse. Lieu très calme et reposant.

Marie was as gracious a host as one could want in a boutique hotel. She was charming to talk to and went out of her way to be helpful and even carried our bags to our room where, because of our age, she was gracious enough to give on a lower floor. Breakfast on the balcony with its view is great and the entire building is filled with real antiques. We loved every minute of our stay in the hotel and would rate it, and its hosts, a clear ten.

Good parking and access to the beautiful surrounding countryside. Engaging and knowledgeable hostess about the property, the city and excursions in the area. Would definitely return.

Historic property, original period furniture, charming hosts, wonderful views over the valley, great location. Maison Bakea is a one-off - we have never stayed at such a beautiful property, furnished with exquisite taste and great attention to detail. Marie & Gilles were devoted hosts who wanted to give their guests the very best experience. They were never intrusive but always ready to offer advice and suggestions. Breakfast was a delight, whether in the dining room or outside on the terrace, and they will provide an evening meal on request if booked in advance. We had dinner on the first night and it was superb - an experience to treasure. Our room overlooked the valley, offering an amazing vista. It is a short walk to the upper old town. They will give you a pass for parking and spaces were generally available outside or very close to the property.
Can't think of anything which could have been better.

Maison Batea is a beautiful historic building with stunning views over the surrounding countryside. The owners Marie and Giles were very friendly and attentive and made us feel very welcome. We found our room to be very comfortable and we would happily return.

From the warm greeting, to the hundreds of years old house, to the magnificent view from our room, to the superb breakfast it was a memorable experience. The village is well sited to explore the area too. Could not recommend more highly ...
Our stay was too short and we had to leave 🙂

L'accueil extrêmement aimable des propriétaires, le charme et la "personalité" de cette maison sont uniques. La vue est superbe. La décoration des chambres est très soignée, elle respecte l'authenticité du lieu tout en offrant le confort actuel. Il est possible de se garer dans la rue devant la maison (gratuitement grâce au passe fourni par nos hôtes). Les rues principales de Cordes sont à 2' à pied.
